XLabs is a digital incubator of ideas looking to connect several fields of expertise in one central platform. The identity developed here aims to establish that hub concept, where its various interests — represented by different colours — meet on XLabs.

The user interface was designed with versatility in mind, built to accommodate infographics and other complex imagery as the platform grew. Simple, fluid shapes can mutate into a multitude of meanings and possibilities.

Throughout our meetings,we were told how important it was to emphasise the client's digital nature. We used a dark theme and glowing colours, reminiscent of the early days of operating systems, to carry that message through.
